Suicide is the second leading cause of death for youth aged 15-24. It’s crucial for social service and care providers to learn how to assess suicide, know what to do if a youth endorses suicidal ideation and how to foster protective factors. Training will also touch on helping youth grieve friends and family lost to suicide.
