Foster Care Training

This training focused on strengthening the skills and capacity of staff to engage in team-based care for youth in foster care and those at risk of involvement in the foster care system. Youth in foster care are often part of large teams in which complex issues may arise and team-based decisions may need to be made. There is a challenge that often surfaces in large teams around collaboration and coordination of care. This is an experiential training that will focus on the relationship-building components of building an effective team to support foster youth. Participants will practice interdisciplinary collaboration in order to improve the collaborative care for foster care youth.
