This training will prepare teachers and staff to best support system involved youth that have been affected by loss. This training is meant to offer teachers working with grieving children some helpful suggestions on how to best support their students. Language and modeling of healthy coping and exploration of grief. We want to motivate teachers to support one another and themselves while doing this work (mutual aid and self-compassion). Form a relationship between EBAC/COC and community educators to simplify the pipeline of community access to our services. Offer tangible resources with helpful information: NAGC, Dougy Center Developmental Grief Responses etc.
