Racial trauma is the cumulative effects of racism on an individual’s mental and physical health. Given the disproportionate number of youths of color, it’s crucial social service and behavioral health providers understand how racial trauma impacts youth on their caseloads. This training will equip providers with the knowledge to better understand racial trauma and strategies to support system-involved youth and families impacted by racial trauma.
