In this training we will examine some of the socio-historic realities that have influenced the familial, parenting, and societal relating styles sometimes associated with Americans of African ancestry and skewed the perceptions of a people. Additionally, we will highlight the hopes and movements towards raising collective consciousness, personal reflection, and moving forward with neither shame nor blame.
