This workshop will serve as an introduction to the use of trauma-informed expressive arts practices via telehealth approaches that can be used to engage foster youth. The goal of this training is to provide staff with an enhanced ability to engage and support youth and families in a culturally-responsive, trauma-informed manner. The use of expressive arts practices may also be supportive in cultivating resiliency and emotional regulation in youth, as well as lessening the impact of primary and secondary trauma.
