The focus of this training is to assist BIPOC Youth Care Workers in unlearning limiting beliefs by introducing the topic of imposter syndrome, developing new communication strategies to build empowerment, and identifying skills for boundary setting. Facilitators will collaborate with participants in developing awareness on variables (i.e cultural/societal/gender pressures) impacting both BIPOC Youth Care Workers and foster youth in advocating for self. Facilitators will utilize open-discussion and individual reflective learning to assist participants’ in generalizing learned material to their work with youth.
