Online Training

This training is for all service providers who work with system involved youth and families. The facilitator will guide discussions around traditional spiritual practices which are often misunderstood and how they may or may not vary from Abrahamic religions and practices. Participants will explore how to communicate with awareness around spirituality and religion with system involved families. Information will be provided about: the differences between spirituality and religion, identifying differences in Abrahamic and traditional practices, and identifying and practice discussions around spiritual practices.

The facilitator will create a safe space for providers to discuss how different practices impact conversation with youth and families. There will be a place for providers to share how these belief around these conversations affect their ability to be proactive in support of client spiritual practices.
