Resolving conflicts, whether those we have with clients, caretakers and collateral contacts or supporting clients through their own conflicts, can be extremely challenging. However, conflict is inevitable, so it’s important to continually work on building skills in this area. Join us in this interactive workshop where we will examine how to prevent, resolve and recover from difficult conflict situations in child welfare. Together we will identify proven conflict strategies, including empathy taking and assertiveness training, mediation techniques as well as restorative justice circles.
