“Team cohesion is the degree to which individual members contribute to the functioning of the group as a whole. The members have social and emotional bonds that link them to each other and to the group at large. Improved outcomes for foster youth can be enhanced by teams who work well together in pursuit of common goals as it pertains to the foster care plan for youth in out of home care. This training will demonstrate how a cohesive service team can lead to better outcomes for foster youth. The training will also demonstrate how establishing shared values amongst a service team can lead to increased engagement for foster youth and families. “
