This training supports professionals in building foundational knowledge in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) and building awareness around functions of behaviors, understanding and applying proactive and consequence behaviors, understanding the difference between positive and negative reinforcement, and working towards increasing positive behavior through positive behavioral intervention systems (PBIS), and the relationship between data collection and well-being of the populations we serve. We will learn different ways to identify functions of behaviors, track data, the importance of data for behaviors, discuss best practices, and learning to support the population we serve with the least restrictive method.
