Accountability is a keystone of cultural equity work. Accountability, as used in this training, refers to creating processes and systems that are designed to help individuals and groups to be held in check for their decisions and actions and for whether the work with foster youth reflects and embodies equity and justice principles. This training will review concepts related to personal and professional accountability for individuals that benefit from cultural privilege, with a focus on exploring how to build systems that foster greater equity for foster youth and families.
