Understanding child development is important for social service providers to effectively engage with youth, understand neurodivergence and understand the impact of trauma on development. This training will provide an overview of neurotypical development from infancy to adolescence. The better we understand neurotypical development, the better we can identify a youth who has developmental delays as well as better understand the impact of trauma on their development.
