Foster Care Training

Complexities underlying some of the behaviors that raise alarm when exhibited by foster youth at times are rooted in an emotional experience stemming from early trauma exposure. This training looks at aggressive and sexualized behaviors seen in youth and will encourage discussion and exploration. Participants are asked to examine behaviors causing confusion for caregivers and/or providers, such as behaviors that surface out of context.
