Children process grief in many different ways through their stages of development. It is important for us as providers to understand how grief is processed through child development stages in order to provide support and care to system-involved children and youth experiencing grief. This course will help you gain insights into the intricate connection between a system-involved youth’s developmental stage and the processing of grief. This four-hour workshop equips child welfare professionals with creative and artistic tools to facilitate meaningful activities, fostering stronger relationships, and effective communication with system-involved children.
