Foster Care Training

This training supports professionals in learning about non-violent communication (NVC) and applying it to work with system-involved children, adolescents, & their caregivers. NVC can be used to communicate more effectively, empathetically, & clearly with our clients, colleagues, & other important stakeholders. In this training session, we will identify at least four principles of NVC and apply them in two activities designed to prepare participants for difficult conversations with both young people & adults.
