This training teaches participants to identify, learn and understand how trauma and stressors impact developing bodies and brains, communities, organizations and systems. Participants be presented information on the Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) research and the disparities for health outcomes of toxic stress. In addition, participants will review the 7 evidence-based strategies for mitigating stress, including the physiological and psychological benefits and specific ways to integrate into daily work day and life.
