“Word on the Street” is a commercial sexual exploitation (CSE) prevention curriculum for girls that comes in 4 versions of the curriculum: a 6-week version, 1-day conference format, 90-minute format, and workbooks. The 6-week version and workbooks come in Spanish. The curriculum covers the following topics: CSEC overview, objectification and sexualization of women and girls, risk factors for CSEC, warning signs someone is recruiting you, healthy relationships, and empowerment. During this two-day course, participants will learn how to facilitate the curriculum with at-risk girls in child welfare.
