This workshop will discuss the importance and the power of relationships. This workshop will discuss the importance of attachment through the 0-5 years and how that impacts ongoing relationships. This workshop will address what it is that relationships need in order to thrive. Additionally, this workshop will provide experiential activities in order to practice reflective listening and empathic responding with clients during nonverbal communication in play. Participants will also learn about the importance of parallel process in therapy and learn specific interventions for co-regulation as well as self-regulation in order to help improve relationships between clients and their caregivers.
