Dr. Nicole Klasey has partnered with Lincoln to offer “Crisis Management Skills for High Risk Populations” to providers working with Alameda County youth and young adults. System-involved youth may externalize their distress and engage in risky behaviors. So, it is imperative for social service providers to learn how to navigate crises with high risk populations. The training will help providers understand the function of the behavior, how to apply harm reduction strategies, and how to create a safety plan with clients engaging in risk behaviors.
