Given the disproportion number of people of color in the prison population, it is important to understanding mass incarceration and how it impacts youth. In this training we will talk about the historical context of mass incarceration. Also covered will address why mass incarceration exists, how it impacts youth and strategies to support youth who have an incarcerated parent.
