Foster Care Training

Training Summary: The training will provide an overview of domestic violence that includes forms of violence and the impact of violence on communities that have disproportionately high violence. The training will also discuss cultural considerations when we’re working with youth and families impacted by domestic violence. Lastly, the training will equip providers with strategies to support youth exposed to domestic violence in their homes. Participants will be able to: -Identify at least one way youth are impacted by domestic violence -Identify one group that is disproportionately impacted by domestic violence -Identify at least one strategy to support youth impacted by domestic violence
