This two hour training will present the eight major life areas affected by childhood sexual abuse, how those areas are affected and what can be done to help victims gain understanding and control in each life area. This discussion will be enhanced by an in-depth look at the Offender-Victim “Relationship”. We will discuss the many ways offenders’ behaviors with their victims create further confusion and significant self-distortions, distortions that have a direct impact on many of these critical areas in a child’s life. Those who are living with and/or assisting children have the unique opportunity to provide a positive antidote to many of these impacts.
