An engaging lecture with a balance of information and case examples, for professionals working with foster youth and their families, which will serve as a bridge to integrate theory into strategies of minimizing the traumatic experience of out of home placement for children as well as how to control for secondary trauma in supporting the child’s mental health following transitions.
