The national dialogue on commercial sexual exploitation has largely focused on the exploitation of females while the exploitation of males has been overlooked, which is problematic given the many risk factors male foster youth have. This 1-day training will discuss male sexual abuse and stigmas of masculinity as well as the challenges of identifying male abuse victims. The trainers will then discuss pathways of entry into sexual exploitation and commercial sex industry for males. It is crucial for social service providers to learn about the commercial sexual exploitation to be better equipped to have dialogue with male foster youth about commercial sexual exploitation
