Training Summary: This course is designed to provide staff with behavior management strategies for working with traumatized youth and families. The aim of the course is to assist adults with an understanding of who the youth are, where they come from and why they do what they do, through an exploration of multiple forms of abuse often suffered by the youth. Participants will examine issues such as mandated reporting (to CPS or Police), developmental effects of abuses and the cycle of violence as it pertains to both parents and children.
