Tele-assessment has recently become a necessity due to COVID-19. This training would address the multiple issues associated with remote training and clinical services including limitations and possible adaptations to best serve clients. Working with children, and foster youth specifically, necessitates further considerations of establishing effective rapport within the context of tele-assessment, access to technology, availability and standardized utilization of necessary tests and measures, potential impact on validity of assessments, completing meaningful written reports, and providing verbal feedback to enhance likelihood of clients utilizing recommendations. Directly related to providing client services is the internship training component also impacted by current interaction restrictions. This training would address such training considerations to help ensure quality services to population served.
