Online Training

This training will provide parents, resource parents, and grandparents information on how to better support their youth educationally. During this pandemic, you are becoming teachers for the children in your home! We will review new study techniques, homework do’s and don’ts, appropriate breaks, an appropriate area in the home for your youth to complete class assignments, and new educational resources available for children during this pandemic. Lastly, the training will review what are SSTs, IEPs what are your rights as a parent, and who is part of the Team supporting you and your child. There will be time to answer your questions at the end. You will leave the training more confident about supporting your child with their education and including the whole learning team, especially your youth, with their education plan.
