Foster Care Training

This training is focused on supporting transgender, gender noncomfirming, and gender expansive youth. Participants will learn foundational concepts and vocabulary related to gender identity. Participants will explore and better understand the impacts and intersections of transphobia, cisnormativity and cissexism. Through self-reflection, group discussion and experiential exercises, participants will develop skills necessary to work as allies/accomplices to the transgender, gender expansive and non-binary youth they serve.
