This training will discuss the challenges LGBTQ+ youth experience in out of home placement; Multiple placements due to gender identity or sexual orientation, suicidality, and the risk of Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (CSEC). Guidance in affirming and respecting one’s gender identity, as well as the importance of using proper pronouns will be addressed.
