Suicide is the second leading cause of death for youth aged 15-24. So, it’s crucial for social service providers to learn how to assess suicide, know what to do if a system-involved youth or young adult endorses suicidal ideation and how to foster protective factors. The training will provide practical strategies to assess suicide and create a safety plan for system-involved youth and young adults who express suicidal ideation.
