Given the importance of working with resource parents and caregivers of system-involved youth, this course will provide concrete tools and discuss best practices for effectively working with them. Specifically, we will focus on best practices for partnering with resource parents and caregivers of youth in care to promote best outcomes. The workshop will also provide an overview of strategies to educate and support resource parents and caregivers in their parenting in a nonjudgmental manner.
