Online Training

This training is for all service providers who identify as BIPOC and who work with Black and Brown system involved youth and families. The facilitator will guide a discussion of how communities of color are affected at different levels by the current political climate regarding race. Information will be provided about: the elements of successful conversations about race, the importance of tracking somatic responses and creating clear intentions. The facilitator will create a safe space for BlPOC identified providers to assess how racism is affecting them daily and how it may intersect with experiences of Black and Brown youth and families. There will be a place for Black and Brown providers to share how these conversations affect them personally in the work.
