Foster Care Training

The large majority of outreach and engagement with parents involved in the child welfare system has focused on mothers. While mothers play a crucial role in kids’ development, so do fathers. There is a growing awareness of the need to include fathers in services. This training will discuss some of the successful strategies implemented by child welfare and social service organizations to outreach to and engage fathers.
