Foster Care Training

In the aftermath of trauma, one may experience high degrees of guilt and shame. They may even blame themselves for their abuse, for the disruption it’s caused in the family, etc.. This course will focus on an important aspect of one’s healing journey – self-forgiveness. Providers will learn why self-forgiveness is important for system-involved youth who have experienced trauma and how to support a client with forgiving themselves.
