The purpose of this training is to inform and discuss solution focused therapy and how it can be utilized to support youth in care. First trainees will discuss Solution Focused therapy and how it came to be, what it strives to accomplish and how it is a strength based technique to support youth in care. Second trainees will discuss solution focused questions that can be used to support youth in care. Lastly trainees will be given time to practice with one another these questions before coming back together in a large group to reflect on how this can be used to support youth within their caseload.
