This 4-hour course is designed to provide staff serving in Group Homes and STRTP’s behavior management strategies for working with traumatized youth and families. The aim of the course is to assist those helping children and teens who have been harmed sexually, through harassment, abuse and assault. Using lecture, large and small group discussions, handouts and case examples, participants will delve into these topics with sensitivity and purpose. Treatment options for system-involved youth will be explored.
