Foster Care Training

Mental health providers working at the Assessment Center engage with youth on the milieu through various activities to build rapport. Providers work with youth while they are at the Assessment Center and continue to support youth while they get adjusted to their new placement. As transition services have shifted to tele-health communications during this pandemic, service providers and youth need to adapt to this change. From this training, providers will discuss various techniques for engaging with youth and service delivery planning to provide optimal outcomes.
