This training is for providers who work with system impacted youth. Eligible participants are service providers working with system impacted youth and families. In this training, the facilitator will provide information to help participants understand and effectively navigate their role in providing behavioral guidance to system-impacted youth. Trainer will facilitate interactive group discussions and provide case examples to allow participants to learn strategies for supporting positive behavioral development, promoting self-regulation, and creating a safe, structured environment. Emphasis will be placed on building trusting relationships, setting clear expectations, and using positive reinforcement techniques that align with the needs and experiences of system-impacted youth.
