Online Training

This 6-hour training focuses on high-risk client situations, such as suicidality, homicidality, grave disability, neglect, community violence, domestic violence, and general crisis escalation. Attendees will review common physiological and cognitive responses to crises and how to mitigate these responses in order to effectively support clients. Each crises type will include a categorization of mild, moderate, and severe risk, and corresponding protocols, or interventions. Attendees will identify means of assessing all risk categories via telehealth.

Attendees will practice the application of protocols in small groups and then process the experience as a larger group.
