Virtual Instructor Led Training

Participants in this training will learn about the unique needs and challenges faced by foster youth and the resource families who care for them and trying to help them heal. Information and strategies for parenting and appropriately disciplining traumatized foster youth from an unconditional and trauma-informed care approach will be discussed. Guidelines, self-care and advocacy tools for helping caregivers stay calm with difficult behaviors will also be discussed.
