Virtual Instructor Led Training

Participants in this training will take part in a self-assessment and discussion exploring beliefs, attitudes, and motivations for becoming a resource parent. Information will be provided regarding the role of resource families on the child and family team. The second half of the training will include a panel consisting of a mix of youth, resource parents, and clinicians and counselors’ workers from Seneca’s foster care program. This will be a time for the sharing of stories and experience and there will be an opportunity for questions and answers.
