The Aldea Resource Parent Orientation provides an overview of the RFA application process including: introduction to Aldea, its history, various Treatment Foster Care programs, and support services provided. We’ll define what a Resource Parent is and review the five competency categories guiding a Resource Parent. We’ll review required documentation, pre-service trainings, the submission of background checks via Live Scan, preparing your home for RFA approval and review the purpose of the psychosocial assessment (home study interviews and report).
