In this training, we will explore the different ways traditional plant medicine such as herbs and teas can be used to serve a regulatory effect on the central nervous system. An activated central nervous system is the primary way in which youth and providers are negatively impacted by trauma exposure. In this training, we will review the ways in which certain scents and herbs can address the activated nervous system and serve a calming and regulatory effect.
