Foster Care Training

Drawing on the universal language of art to promote relationships and resilience, this training introduces art and body-based strategies to build connection and strain reduction through relationship-centered, expressive and reflective practices. The training will offer a mix of lecture and experiential learning and includes opportunities for small group discussion to deepen experience and to examine application and relevance. Participants will learn 3 strategies and they will learn about the instruments needed for building an inexpensive, culturally sensitive art kit that can flexibly engage youth and caregivers of all ages.
