“Training Summary: This course is designed to provide staff with behavior management strategies when working with traumatized youth and families. The aim of the course is to assist adults working with severely emotionally disturbed pre-teens compared with healthy pre-teens. Participants will discuss effective tools and techniques for treatment.
Participants will be able to:
-Define pre-teen development,
-Identify issues that can get in the way of positive self-worth, confidence and identity,
-Describe treatment options for the pre-teen population
