In this training, Clinical Social Workers will review and discuss the rights of each individual youth in care, from newborns to teenagers. We will present the new Foster Youth Bill-of-Rights in layman’s terms, things that come up the most, and what caregivers have the most questions about. There will be particular attention to the Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights of youth in care, as well as how to engage with youth about sexual and reproductive wellness. This is also a training that youth in care could attend alongside their caregivers, especially those 12 – 18 years of age.
