Foster Care Training

The holiday season tends to bring on extra stress for both providers and the youth and families with whom they work. In some cases it can be triggering or evoke strong emotions and reactions.  In this class participants will have a chance to talk about how they can better help themselves and those they support manage stress during the holiday season. They will learn simple exercises from the field of energy medicine and energy psychology which they can use to regulate their own nervous systems and teach to system involved youth and families, especially in times of crisis. Material will be taught through lecture, demonstration, experiential group activities, personal reflection.
