In today’s complex and emotionally charged child welfare environments, professionals often face high-pressure situations involving children, youth, and families without sufficient tools for emotional regulation, psychological safety, and inclusive communication. This 2-hour session introduces participants to two integrated frameworks—SPARK (Show up, Pause, Ask, Respect, Kindly expect conflict) and AAA (Awareness, Action, Accountability)—designed to strengthen intentional practice during challenging interactions. Through reflection, guided application, and real-world scenarios, participants will develop strategies to enhance collaboration, manage conflict, and promote stability and well-being for families involved in foster care and adoption.
