Foster Care Training

“This training will focus on using culturally congruent methods of narrative techniques to facilitate youth growth and development. Trainer will examine the importance of the narratives that youth tell themselves or have been told and explore how these narratives can be shifted towards strength-based ideas of progress and positive trajectory. In this training trainees will look at how to discover values and to locate the points in people’s stories that can be explored toward health. Trainees will discuss how to use these techniques to support youth in services. “
